In CDex I am selecting the ID3v2 options. Whether or not it is writing the tags properly I don't really know, although like I said the Winamp plugin can read them.

If I remember well, Mad just skips the id3v2 tags, and doesn't process them.

If you had used both v1.x and v2, it would have worked.
