New official and test releases of hfs_fs, the HFS filesystem module for Linux, are now available from http://www-sccm.Stanford.EDU/~hargrove/HFS/

The official release is also in ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/Incoming/ to be moved to ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/ALPHA/hfs/

The new official release, hfs_fs-0.7.7, fixes two serious bugs that were present in previous versions. So, I strongly recommend the upgrade to all hfs_fs users. Version 0.7.7 compiles with Linux kernel version 2.0.1 through at least 2.1.14.

The new test release, hfs_fs-pre-0.8-3, differs from pre-0.8-2 mainly in that it fixes the same bugs fixed in 0.7.7 and will compile with later 2.1.x kernels.
