Actually, that is your original mail which your mail client (Outlook Express) sent as a MIME message (perhaps due to your encoding settings?). The digester for this list doesn't convert MIME to ASCII...
Regarding your original question, I guess it is easier to configure MAD manually. The most important parts are libmad, libid3 and libz, and those compile cleanly (you only need to define which FPM to use, take a look at libmad/fixed.h).
