We have been trying to port madlld to DSP16K DSP. We built the madlld. However, we are currently suffering for DSP16K memory alignment issue: DSP16K memory is aligned on 16bit (2byte boundary). This strange memory alignment requirements make the mad_header_decode() routine return -1:
*(ptr+1) points not to the next byte, but to the next word due to DSP16k 16bit memory alignment issue.
We badly need an advise for this strange architecural issue for madlld. Could you advise us what would be the minimal fix to this particular problem? Thanks in advance.
