The absolute best gapless and crossfading plugin that I have found for WinAMP is the SQRsoft ACF plugin. It's completely compatible with MAD. I own and have encoded Paul van Dyk's "Out There and Back" - all the tracks on CD #1 seamlessly fade into one another, even when split into seperate MP3s, using ACF's GapKiller.
