Will you please add info about where exactly in the file was the MPEG header found?
Winamp does this, and it's very nice, because you can easily check which files have id3v2 tags and which ones don't.
Also, it's helpful because there are some strange mp3 files which have a RIFF/WAVE header in them, and the MPEG header is usually found in byte 70 or 72 instead of byte 0.
And, if you don't mind, it would be great if your plugin had an option to remove that annoying RIFF/WAVE header.
Lastly, I'd love another option to remove id3 tags (both version1 and version2)
