Hi everybody,
I have tried to compile the madplay app using alsa-lib and alsa-utils 1.0.0rc2 and linux kernel 2.6.1-rc1. I use also gcc 3.3.2. The compile process failed. It seems that the audio_alsa.c use sys/asoundlib.h instead alsa/asoundlib.h. However modifying that it didn't help either. I want to mention that the 0.9.8 version of alsa-lib and alsa-utils permit the compiling of madplay and work just fine. Maybe some dev have some time to take a look at this situation.
Regards, Florin
Hi again,
I have find a patch for this problem. I attach it here.
Yours, Florin
