Hello.
Below is an e-mail i recieved from Terratec Support. I was complaining
that the 24 bit output on the EWX 24/96 was not working under Windows
2000 with the WDM drivers.

Hello,
The WDM driver architecture does not support 24bit resolution. This is
a limitation of the driver architecture itself.
For ACPI you must use WDM - but for 24bit you need to use VxD drivers
and disable ACPI under W2K. There is no other solution until the WDM
architecture is expanded.
Mfg/best regards,

error:
With the newest drivers I am unable to utilize the 24 bit output
capability. 16 bit works fine however. With the older drivers (Version
4-something i think) 24 bits worked fine. But i want to use the version
5 driver because it allows me to use ACPI. The problem have persisted
through a complete reinstall of Windows 2000.
comment:
THANKS for fixing the bug where the Digital Out Source was not
remembered in the control panel.
I was becoming *SO* annoyed by it.

Your momma is so dumb, she set her bufferlength to a minimal octal
instead of purging the cache.
