Have you ever HEARD a upsampler? Have you compared a CD upsampled to 24/48?
If you haven't, I suggest you keep your (uninformed) opinions to yourself
until you learn more about hi-fidelity.

P.S. If you took a VHS signal sampled at 320x240, and interpolated it to
1280x960, it *would* look better. That's exactly what I'm doing with the
audio signal. Hearing is believing, if you have a 24/96 sound card, I'll
send you the scripts and you can try it yourself.
