A bot of off topic maybe but since the question was already posted...
I've been trying to do the same. I need to apply Prologic to external sources like VCR, Digital cable etc.
I tried creating a DirectX graph that would connect my analog input of my Maudio soundcard to either WinDVD or PowerDVD XP decoding filter and output as 5.1 channel prologic.
I have not been able to get this to work yet ... PowerDVD XP filters accept the input, but the options to decode are greyed out.
Any idea on how do what I want to do?

I have been asked to query the following:
Are there any Winamp plugins compatible with MAD that take a standard 2-channel mp3 output and systhesize a 5.1 surround sound output? The
person
in question owns a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz and analog 5.1 speakers, as I
do.
Note that this would mean that the output would have to use all three
analog
outputs of the soundcard a la PowerDVD XP instead of a digital out. It would also naturally not use the so-called "Virtual 5.1" feature of that card.
Thanks,
